Mariam Bandzeladze -International Lawyer and manager of the Gender Equality component at United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the frame of UN Joint Programme for Gender Equality in Georgia
Mariam Bandzeladze is an International Lawyer with an LLM degree from Georgetown University with over six years of experience in managing development projects in the country of Georgia. Mariam is currently managing Gender Equality component at United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in the frame of UN Joint Programme for Gender Equality in Georgia. Prior to this, she has worked as a Head of Legal Department at an international organization, Dhabi Group Georgia.
Kerryn Rehse - Coordinator of the policy advocacy and communications for MOSAIC Training, Service & Healing Centre for Women
Kerryn Rehse has an undergraduate degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Social Policy & Management from the University of Cape Town.
She has been working within the Gender-based Violence sector for the past 5 years and is currently coordinating the policy advocacy and communications for MOSAIC Training, Service & Healing Centre for Women, prior to this, she coordinated Mosaic’s engaging men and boys programme with a particular focus on male counselling in the context of intimate partner violence and SRHR and GBV education with male youth.
John Crownover - Youth and Gender Program Advisor – CARE International Balkans
John Crownover is currently the Youth and Gender Program Advisor for CARE International Balkans, focused on programs in Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia. John’s work focuses on building capacity of local non-profit organisations and governments to implement gender transformative programs that promote gender equality, incorporate gender based violence prevention in the education sector and promote healthy concepts of masculinity with adolescent boys. During the past 20 years in the Western Balkans, John has focused on the development and implementation of programs focused on youth, particularly dealing with violence and conflict prevention, sexual and reproductive health, positive youth development and the role of youth work in bringing about positive social change. John has served as CARE International’s representative on the MenEngage Alliance Board and is at active member within the European region. In addition John co-facilitates CARE International’s Engaging Men and Boys learning group.
